Yeah and I'm going to be one of those not getting it. They lost all respect from me when they shafted dedicated players with a price hike like that and are using it to gatekeep day one play of some games.

you would think they would have learned their lesson when they tried to do the whole DRM crap with the Xbox One. Ya know the whole sharing games with friends thing.

You honestly think the same company that took couch co-op out of later iterations of Halo would think about that?

They seem to be on track to kill their gaming branch.

oh, no they aren't 3 of their exclusive franchises have made it to PlayStation. Games like Sea of Thieves appeared on the PlayStation in 2024, Forza Horizon 5 released earlier this year. and Flight Simulator 2024 Set to release next month. and some type of Halo game coming. With them getting the Stream library they now have access to PlayStation exclusives like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and The Last of Us. So, if they fail in the console market like everyone thinks they will. They will still have Game Pass and a monopoly on the top gaming studios such as Blizzard/Activision (COD Overwatch) and 343 Studios (Halo). I honestly think they are trying to capitalize on the PC market more than the console market. Xbox Studios might become the next SEGA and just develop games.

That's not entirely true though. They had massive layoffs from many of the studios making games and have shelved several games in production. The only game I'm remotely interested in from them is Gears of War E-Day by Coalition. Even they've felt the pinch from Microsoft tightening the coin purse strings though.

I am actually waiting on the FABLE remake before Lionshead Studio imploded there was talks of a FABLE 4 but all we got was that first person Konnect game that wasn't worth the money.

Yeah, I think we were all crushed to some aspect by the various project cancellations this past few years.
